Section: Fashion – Celeb Style

Awards shows mean fashion and plenty of it, but the Grammys are something special and no event matches its mix of outré style and attention-grabbing outfits. Since we otherwise spend our time in sweatpants at home, having a sartorial escape in the form of red carpet fashion is especially welcome this year. The 2021 Grammy Awards, with music’s biggest night, comes plenty of bold and daring style choices from the industry’s hottest talent. So order your takeout and put on your most elegant pyjamas, because we’re in for a night of Grammys fashion like nothing we’ve ever seen, literally.

One of the few occasions where a little black dress or simple tux just won’t cut it, its red carpet necessitates bold expressions of personality. This year, attendees and nominees arrived for the mega award ceremony - known for its outlandish and over-the-top red carpet looks, virtually and in-person. Grammys night has always been a night for attention-seeking style, but the stars who showed up this year were clearly ready to serve their fashion high after a year of staying home. In fact, this may be one of the most stylish Grammys we’ve seen in several years.

Having said that, here are the top looks that caught our eyes this year. Some were chic while some were totally glamorous but equally served the purpose of ‘looking exceptionally great’ on the Grammys red carpet.

Bow Down, because Queen Bey is in the building! A Grammys without a Beyoncé Knowles-Carter fashion moment is always a bit anticlimactic, the star went all out in a custom black gathered leather mini dress by Schiaparelli Haute Couture, totally killing the fierce all-black ensemble.
